We know many people have sensitivities to alcohol extracts, so we have created an alternative using Organic Glycerin and distilled water to make the finest, sweetest herbal glycerites for your children and those in alcohol recovery.
Glycerin has anti-fermentation properties that are efficient for preservation. An Herbal Glycerite has a shelf life of 6 months to one year when stored properly (refrigeration is best for long shelf life) versus an alcohol extract that can have a shelf life from 3 to 6 years.
We use a ratio of 30% to 70% Distilled water to Glycerin to prevent spoiling and mold.
