How Our Formulas Are Made

At Vermont Pure Herbs, I believe that exceptional herbal products begin long before they are bottled. They begin with carefully selected botanicals, thoughtful formulation, and a commitment to traditional herbal craftsmanship.

Unlike many companies that extract each botanical separately and blend the finished tinctures together afterward, I formulate my products differently. Each botanical is carefully selected and combined before the extraction process begins. The entire formula is then extracted together as one complete blend.

This traditional method allows the botanicals to work together throughout the extraction process, creating balanced, full-spectrum herbal extracts while preserving the natural synergy of the formula.

Many of the botanicals used in my products are grown on my Vermont property or responsibly wildcrafted throughout Vermont. When an ingredient cannot be grown locally, I carefully source it from trusted suppliers who share my commitment to quality, purity, and sustainability.

Every formula is handcrafted by me in small batches. From selecting the botanicals and preparing each extraction to bottling, labeling, and packaging, every step is completed with care and attention to detail.

I don’t believe in shortcuts, pre-made formulas, or mass production. My goal is to create herbal products the way they were meant to be made—with integrity, craftsmanship, and respect for the plants.
